National meeting of mayors

At the national meeting of French mayors, Onema will present the observatory for public water and sanitation services. It will organise a conference titled "The observatory on public water and sanitation services - a management and information resource", held on Wednesday, 18 November from 11.15 to 13.30. Economic and market instruments in support of water policies in Europe

The goal of this European workshop organised by Onema, at the crossroads between science and politics, is to elicit discussion between economists, water stakeholders, political decision-makers and researchers concerning the design and use of new economic instruments in the water sector.

National seminar of SBMP leaders

Following the seminar organised in December 2007 by the Ecology ministry and IOWater, Onema will organise the national seminar of sub-basin management plan leaders, with the ministry and its river-basin entities, the Water agencies and support from IOWater. The two-day meeting is intended primarily for SBMP leaders to encourage discussion and feedback on the national level.
